Travel Information
There are three options of getting to Sinaia:

Via the International Airport "Henri Coanda"
(also known as the Otopeni Airport) which is well connected to the rest of Europe.
All the major airlines have flights to and from this airport. It is located in Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
There are two main options for reaching Sinaia from Bucharest: by car or by train.
Trains leave from the Bucharest North train station regularly (~130 km, 2 hours by train).
To reach Bucharest North train station from the Henri Coanda Airport there are three options:

via the 780 bus line
, connecting the airport with the Bucharest Nord train station. The transfer takes about 1 hour for the price of 4 Ron (~1 EUR).

via an express train that connects the Henri Coanda Airport to the Bucharest Nord train station.
You can buy tickets and ask for info at the international arrivals terminal in the Henri Coanda Airport.
The train travels hourly with some exceptions

cab/taxi 100 RON (~25 EUR).

Via international train:
- From Budapest "Keleti", train EN 473, departing at 19:10 and arriving the second day at 10:25(14 hours travel time)
- From Budapest "Keleti", train EN 347, departing at 23:30 and arriving the second day at 14:30(14 hours travel time)

Via international coach: Memento Bus offers both international and national
options to travel to Sinaia, Romania. You can also find a transfer bus from "Henri Coanda" International Airport
(Otopeni Airport) to Sinaia for about 8 Euro.

Via car, independent travelers entering Romania by car (own or rental) need to obtain a road toll sticker, called RoVinieta.
RoVigneta is available on-line www.RoViniete.ro as well as at most border-crossing points, postal offices and gas stations.
Cost of RoVinieta for passenger cars: Romanian currency equivalent of 3 Euro (valid 7 days).
