Special Session on Content-Based Image Retrieval Approaches (INISTA-CBIR 2021)

 This special issue aims to bring together recent research works of Image Representation and Content-Based-Image Retrieval approaches. We welcome researchers to discuss various aspects of these topics. We encourage researchers to innovate new solutions to the key problems in this emerging field. We solicit original works that have not been published nor under consideration in other publication venues.

The topic of interest includes the following but not limited to:
 • Deep Learning based representation models
 • Optimization of representation learning
 • Metric learning based image representation
 • Discrete hash code generation
 • Hashing
 • Multi-model learning approaches
 • Novel methods for learning embeddings
 • Content- and context-based indexing
 • High performance indexing algorithms
 • Applications of image retrieval in medical imaging
